Clean up / Check data suggestion
I changed the setting that allow to move computer activities in to different tasks. The result of this was terrible. Time consumed is no longer between task end minus task start calculation. With this setting "Time" is not affected by editing the start and stop time.
There should be a clean up function scanning for difference in "Time" and stamp duration.
Display lines in a report with possibility to correct "Time" to the time spent between start and stop.
As it stands, if I have automated activity tracking on, it will track my time even if I also have a calendar entry booked in the same time period. I'd like to have the option of having one override the other so that I'm not double tracking my time
We would like to use TimeCamp reports to replace our existing method of submitting weekly reports. The way permissions are set up for projects/programs, too much visibility is provided to all "Project Managers" of tasks. It would be great if the notes field could be configured so that this data is only available to the direct supervisor or above, rather than anyone with project manager access to the the Project. This way, there is no concern that sensitive information in reports can be queried by people other than the person's manager, and therefore makes it possible to use these as weekly reports which highlight barriers or obstacles.
Subtotals for Invoices suggestion
Would be nice to have a sum total of hours completed for an invoice, as well as a total cost for an invoice below the "Services" category, as well as the "Products" category. Sort of like a subtotal for each section of the invoice.
Ability to assign calendar to project suggestion
I am currently working on various projects, with unique calendars (Apple, Outlook, Google, Google Project 1, Google Project 2) and project management tools, Asana, etc...
Through the calendars features, I can add one calendar to another, and through one calendar I can actually see the full scope of all my calendars, so that is great, but it is a nightmare actually keeping track how much work has been done for each project, according to each task.
It would be great, if we could assign a calendar to a project, so that any meeting added to project 1 calendar, is then added and accounted for in project 1 in timecamp automatically.
When the timer is running, I often forget to click stop, and end up with eg 23hrs writing an email. It would be good to have the option to be asked, whether you´re still working, if no activity is detected for 5, 10, 20 etc minutes. And if no user input is given, the timetracking is automatically stopped. Would be great to have the option to have tracking running in the background automatically stopped.
Issues with Xero integration suggestion
Currently TimeCamp automatically imports ALL Xero Contacts regardless of whether they are Cusdtomers, Suppliers, or anything else - even Credit Card Companies. If I delete any from TimeCamp, the next time I open TimeCamp the deleted Contacts are back again. This is unworkable.
The best option would be to show a list from Xero, filtered by Contacts that are Customers, and allow the User to select the Customers to import.
Hide from timesheet suggestion
Please give us a category to hide activities from the timesheet. It would be super useful to hide background applications like antivirus, anti-malware, etc.
So the application will still be tracked but if the [activity x] get marked as a category [hide] it does not show on the timesheet.

Give us a possibility to integrate with a custom Gitlab server. I am waiting for this feature for a year but no progress. Problem is% i Can't insert me domain address. Integration is possible only with Gitlab hosted server. Please add a flexibility. Thank you!

Add Update option into Zapier integration suggestion
It will be nice to automate time entries updates from Zapier, or/and deletion of them. I have an integration that brings time entries into the system as non-billable, and I would like to transform them automatically into billable if the project is configured as such.
Workflow Max suggestion
Please add to integrate with Workflow Max (Xero).
we already have a backend integration with Xero which will download tasks from Xero and create TimeCamp task from them.
We are also strongly considering integration using Google Chrome Plugin in the nearest future.
Currently, after I create a task with a start time and end time, the next task is auto-populated with the start time of the previous task. The new task should be auto-populated with the end time of the previous task.
- Under Timesheet, enter a new task with start and end time. (example: start time is 1pm and end time is 2pm)
- Click Add Time Entry to save the entry
- Begin entering a new task. Note that the start and end times are auto-populated with the start time of the previous task just saved (example: populated with 1pm).
- The new task should be auto-populated with the end time (example: 2pm), since it is unlikely that I would create a new task with the same start time as previous
I am the administrator and I have set the desktop tracking data to private, as we use it to inform our timesheets but not track users. Yet we can still see everyone's tracking data.
We have "Keep all computer usage tracking information entirely private and not shared with anyone besides the user that tracked that time" checked within the desktop application settings, under add ons. But I can still see all the tracking data from my colleagues.
Desktop app log out suggestion
Need a way to log out of the desktop app as we have a laptop that is shared and we need to change whose timesheets it's logging against depending on who's using the laptop. Currently have to reinstall it each time as there is no obvious way to log out.
Reminder to start timer suggestion
Have TimeCamp give you a notification, with sound, to start the timer again when you continue working without starting the timer. This way you can avoid having to log work sessions you didn't resume the timer for.
Approval Filters suggestion
Ability to filter timesheets pending approval, vs. approved, vs not even submitted. Those of us who oversee huge teams or sit at top of org but need to keep the time flowing woudl appreciate this oversight control. See what we have to, not everyone and their status.
I think it would be awesome if the user could customize which days appear in the weekly "graphical timesheet" view (for example, removing Saturday and Sunday so that only working days are shown). I feel like this would provide a cleaner / less cluttered look to those who prefer to hide the days they are not working.
