Select default for how task is created (Start Timer vs Add Time Entry) suggestion

When adding a new task, I always use the timer. But the default for creating a new task is "Add Time Entry".

Could you add a check box, within a users settings, that sets their desired default for Task Selection to be either "Start Timer" or "Add Time Entry"?

On a related note, when you hit the Start Timer button to switch to timer mode, it doesn't actually start the timer, so you have to click Start Timer a second time to get the job done.
