I sometimes work where i, say, start at 20:00 and work through to 1am the next day. However, the JS validation doesn't like times beyond 23:59 for a given day.

No major biggie tho.

Tasks should inherit settings from projects and subtasks from tasks.

For instance, I have one general project (non billable) for many administrative tasks. I create those tasks, but while the project is non billable, I have to go back to projects and change the default each time, if I create the task while entering the activity. This alone takes one-two minutes away from productivity. The same for subtasks of a task.

It goes natural that a task in a billable project is billable and one in non billable is non billable. The same goes for tags and for person assigned to the task (I don't use it, but then again).

When adding a new task, I always use the timer. But the default for creating a new task is "Add Time Entry".

Could you add a check box, within a users settings, that sets their desired default for Task Selection to be either "Start Timer" or "Add Time Entry"?

There are all other ways to over come language setting but
We will be delighted if you could add on a Japanese language setting.
(120million probable users)

I don't think I'm going to get much vote writing this in English, am I...

We would greatly appreciate a Chrome Plugin for BaseCamp 3 so that we can log time on a project directly from the BaseCamp web interface.

Currently TimeCamp automatically imports ALL Xero Contacts regardless of whether they are Cusdtomers, Suppliers, or anything else - even Credit Card Companies. If I delete any from TimeCamp, the next time I open TimeCamp the deleted Contacts are back again. This is unworkable.

The best option would be to show a list from Xero, filtered by Contacts that are Customers, and allow the User to select the Customers to import.

The ability to delete computer activities directly from the timesheet without deleting the entire time entry. selecting the unwanted ones with the check boxes that are already there, but then have a delete selected option or something

There are sometimes errors on my computer that pop up during the night, or adds that pop up and it records that as active computer time when it is not. It seems to even record the reminder to track my time as active computer time. So my timesheet is full, but the majority is computer functions that I'd like the program to completely ignore. It is quite labour intensive to have to go in each day and delete all of the unwanted computer activity, and it appears to be currently all or nothing. For example I can't select certain entries in the "timecamp data collector" computer activity for it to delete, it's either delete all entries or none.

Hide from timesheet suggestion

Please give us a category to hide activities from the timesheet. It would be super useful to hide background applications like antivirus, anti-malware, etc.

So the application will still be tracked but if the [activity x] get marked as a category [hide] it does not show on the timesheet.

Hi,
I have a suggestion that definitively will help me (hopefully I'm not the only one). I'm currently a consultant and a developer. TimeCampas being working ok/acceptable but most of the time I need to use excel to finish my reports and invoices. because I need an extra field to add my effort time added to the time tracking. why?

- Sometimes I do work that takes more than what I can charge. so it is work/effort-time vs time track (start-stop timer)
- When I do system engineering/admin work I multitask. while the server is doing updates or installs I switch to other tasks for other projects or even other customers so I need to have time and notes for all those several tasks, and mainly want to track the actual effort time (works) since is what I will be charging to my customers.
- when having meetings I can't charge the whole time but want to keep track of the duration so I can measure the productivity of my day.

please share this request to the DevOps team.

Yet, the mobile reports in the Android app give no useful summary of time spent because as soon as a tasks (in Asana) get the status finished the tracked time for this task is no longer included in the reports.

One thing that bugs me all the time is that whenever I click 'Show report for this task' in the Timesheet, I expect to see the total hours. And every time, I must go and select "All time" to see them. It's very annoying.

It would be nice if either the state persists once it's selected, or if it could be set from the settings as a default.

When you start logging time in Zendesk, you can't see the logged time until TC syncs the information between Zendesk and TC.

Solution: When you start logging time in Zendesk the app pushes the data on the ticket to TC.

There has been many instances where a staff member can create a project that already exists because of an error or an improper search or even when it comes to spacing of a company name when creating a project (ex. J&G Restorations vs J & G Restorations, etc.). Or some items that were accidentally created by staff as a project that should of just been a task under another category.

This has lead to having some duplicate projects or tasks that have been created. We need a way to be able to merge these projects or tasks without losing all of the data entered in them. Currently we would have to manually change each entry in Time Camp in order to not avoid losing anything. There needs to be a quicker and more effective way to doing this.

Seems like an easy enough function that should be implemented especially for companies, like ours, who have hundreds (soon to be thousands) of projects and work on multiple projects on the same day with multiple entries where these type of errors are more prevelant

in custom report the only option is that the weekly entries are descending, so first you see last week. We would like to make a monthly report starting with the first (oldest) week and ending with the last week.

Too many company integrations (which are cyclically linked and duplicative at that) - Jira + Asana -> JIRA). If a user that never uses JIRA or Asana could configure themselves to "hide" or otherwise ignore those issues it would avoid a lot of "flooding" and overload of the dropdown and improve perofrmance.

Holiday requests suggestion

It would be great if there would be a feature where staff can request holidays. This will then be forwarded to the responsible manager who can approve (or not). Upon approval, the holiday is added to the calendar.
