Required Tasks/Subtasks suggestion
Itd be great if when selecting a project with task/subtasks, it forced you to select a task/subtask. Right now, you can select a project with tasks/subtasks, and it lets you just select the project. If it were to force you to select a task/subtask, itd be much easier and keep for entry errors happening.
Project - Making Widgets
Task - Blue Widget, Red Widget, Yellow Widget
Subtask - Gluing, Wrapping, Boxing.
When you pick Making widgets, you're REQUIRED to pick red blue or yellow, then you're REQUIRED to pick gluing, wrapping, boxing
Adding Fields for Output suggestion
for some projects, there is an output of that project ie making widgets. Right now I just know how long I spent on creating those widgets, not how many were made during that time. Itd be great if there was an additional field where output could be put. My suggestion would be adding 2 additional fields: one for the output and one for how that output is measured ( widgets, cups, eaches, boxes, etc). So Id be able to select a project - Making Widgets, Task - Blue widgets, SubTask - Putting on Wheels, OUTPUT - 300, MEASUREMENT - Cases.
Itd be an amazing help to be able to spot pinch points in the project.
Moving Time Entries suggestion
When one attempts to move a time entry, I see the alert message:
It is not allowed to move activities or merge entries while autocomplete mode is enabled due to incorrect values in duration and from-to. You can disable it in upper right corner by clicking gear icon.
I really think you should name the exact path to, and the name of exactly which option you are talking out. I searched for 10m and still didn't see any option called "autocomplete mode." Since moving a timeslice now and then might be helpful (esp if you don't have auto-sorting as per my previous suggestion) maybe making this option more accessible (like right on the timesheet as a checkbox) might be good.
I guess if you implement automated timeslice sorting (upon entering a work time period in the past) you can make all this go away.
When adding a new task, I always use the timer. But the default for creating a new task is "Add Time Entry".
Could you add a check box, within a users settings, that sets their desired default for Task Selection to be either "Start Timer" or "Add Time Entry"?
Multi-client support suggestion
It would be great if we could have support for multiple clients. We bill our customers and we would like to have reports grouped by customers. A project can also be shared between customers. For instance, "Tech Support". Every customer has this "project".
It could be very helpful if it was possible to approve individual time records in timesheet (with a label informing who did the approval).
Reason: in a flexible organisation model, where there are several task groups and some of the employees might perform e.g. two different tasks each for different task group, it is unconfortable for those task groups' leaders to synchronize their timesheet approvals: they have to agree on who will perform the approval and whether the time recorded in their project is approved by them or not. This is an unnecessary additional work to be done.
This feature would be even better if it was available also in the week view which provides more clarity.
Dynamic classifications for task suggestion
We need to have more options for classifying our tasks. Acute challenge is that the two options billable / non-billable are not enough for our company.

At the moment, there is no way for an accepted quote to become an invoice. I have to start over.

TimeCamp on smartwatch error
Problem 1: Once a task has been started and selected via the "Browse Tasks"-button, it is not possible to navigate back. The only way to get back to the app's home page is to force quit the app.
Also, it is no longer possible to exit the browser as there is no exit button. The same applies if you press the "Create task" button in vain, you have to create a task or force quit the app. Otherwise, you get stuck.
A project can be a task in the PC app as well as on the smartphone, with or without a subtask.
As soon as I have a project with multiple tasks on the Watch, the project can no longer be used as a task.
Billable button contrast/visibility suggestion
When clicking the "$" button to indicate whether tracked time counts as billable only changes the color of the icon. It would be a lot more visible/clear/accessible if there was a background, say a round green circle when time is selected as billable and, a greyed out(?) background for the icon.

Admin could receive a notification if an employee has logged lesser than the expected working hours. For ex: if the limit is 4 hours, and an employee logged only 2 hr in a day, the admin needs to notified of this.
A competitor has this feature. I work remotely (different region) from my client and if there is a way for the app to select a specific time zone so it doesn't get confusing for everyonem that would be great.
Pass report filters in querystring suggestion
For a report like this,
Can we please have a way of specifying the report parameters in the query string? For example, I want to be able to link to a report for "all time" and "all people" for a specific task
The filter selections are what I really care about when saving a custom report. The setup of the table is less of a concern as I typically use the same options all the time anyways.
This would make finding the relevant data I need much simpler. I could just click on my saved report for last weeks employee training time and see the all the training done last week.... or switch back to see just MY time from last week on all tasks .... or all my time on a single task.
Definable work stages for projects suggestion
All of our projects move through individually invoiced stages that don't overlap. It would be really useful to be able to define the start and end date of each stage in a project so that any automatically recorded entries that fall within that date range could be tagged with that particular project stage. If a report function was also developed then this would make it really simple to compare the quoted time for a piece of work with the actual time spent doing it and would allow us to either adjust future billing or it would highlight where staff might need further training.
The only way around this I have found so far is to define subtasks for projects and have a sub-task for each stage. However, because we don't change the project number when moving from stage to stage there is no new unique keyword that we can use for any stage that will differentiate it from any other stage of the project. This means that each user has to manually select work stages for every task that is recorded, which start to make the automatic nature of TimeCamp a lot less effective and takes us back toward using manual timesheets that we used prior to moving to TC.
